Stanze.com The
idea came about a day when I was going over many
scattered sheets, most of them nearly illegible. I have
many notebooks and boxes full of notes, annotations,
phrases tossed on paper with an unsharpened pencil or an
old pen that loses ink. Paper of every type and shape,
postcards, envelopes, cardboard, newspapers, inserts: a
beautiful confusion of paper.
So the idea came about: why not write it all down
and publish it on Internet? It
took me several months to complete everything and create
this website. The task, at times, was simply tedious and
boring. All and all, I hope that it’s been useful, and
the time I spent on this project was well spent.
Hopefully, these notes that are finally gathered
here on Stanze.com will bring into being in every reader
my passion and some emotion. Poetry for me is precisely
that: a window onto the psychology, the great love for
perhaps too many things, feelings, the body, the spirit,
and the soul. During
more than ten years I have always maintained a tear of
passion that urges one to write down some lines, read
them once again, and make one feel more tranquil. The
Italian poetry has been collected in several sections:
love, hunger, time, madness and passion. Moreover,
having lived in English and French-speaking countries,
you will also find two sections dedicated to French and
English writings. You
will have to pardon my English as it is not my mother
tongue. Stanze.com is an open book: at the bottom of every page you will find two arrows that you can use to turn the pages. I hope you will find the website fresh and enjoyable; and eventually that some collaborators join me on this effort to share sweet passion through the Internet. 25/05/2001
